We made a new my NDIS participant portal and updated the my NDIS app.

They work with our new computer system.

About the my NDIS participant portal and app

We made a new computer system to help us support participants better.

Participants are people with disability who take part in the NDIS.

When your NDIS plan is in our new computer system, you can use our new:

  • my NDIS participant portal
  • my NDIS app.

Your NDIS plan explains how the NDIS will support you.

We made the new my NDIS portal and app accessible.

When information is accessible, it is easy to:

  • find and use
  • understand.

Your my NDIS contact can help you use the my NDIS portal and app.

Your my NDIS contact is a support person who you have a lot of contact with.

You can find out more about the my NDIS portal and app on our page about my NDIS participant portal and app questions.

What you can do on the my NDIS portal and app

You can use the my NDIS portal and app to check your funding

Funding is the money from your plan that pays for the supports you need.

You can also check your budget.

Your budget is how we split the funding in your plan.

You can also use the my NDIS portal and app to check any claims that people have made from your budget.

When you make a claim, you ask the NDIS to pay for a support.

You can also make claims through the my NDIS portal if you manage your own plan.

You can also use the my NDIS portal to check:

  • information about you and your plan
  • messages from us.

It is always a good idea to download the latest version of the my NDIS app.

You can still use the myplace portal

If you do not have a plan in our new computer system yet, you can keep using the myplace portal.

If you have a plan in our new computer system, you can still find and use the myplace portal through:

  • the NDIS website
  • myGov.

It will let you see:

  • your old plans
  • information about your old plans.

If you are a nominee or child representative

A nominee is someone you choose to:

  • make decisions for you
  • do things for you.

Often an adult will make decisions about the NDIS for a participant who is a child.

We call this person a ‘child representative’.

When you log in to the my NDIS portal and app, you need to use your own myGov account if you are a:

  • nominee
  • child representative.

You cannot use the login details of the participant you support.

You need to use your own myGov account when you log in to the:

  • my NDIS portal
  • app.

You can log in using myGov to make claims for each participant you support.

You will also be able to see the claims you made.

Even if you support more than one participant.
